Omega Alpha Pharmaceuticals Inc. is 100% Canadian owned and incorporated in the province of Ontario. The President of the company is Dr. Gordan Chang who holds a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto's Department of Physiology and Institute of Biomedical Engineering, which includes two years as a post doctoral fellow in the department of Clinical Chemistry at Toronto General Hospital. In addition to CEO responsibilities, Dr. Chang is also Omega Alpha's Head of Research & Product Development.

As a NHPD site licensed pharmaceutical company (site license 300091) all herbal products manufactured by the company are done so under the same rigid Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) quality standards associated with the manufacture of modern pharmaceutical products, and now required by Health Canada for pharmaceutical manufcaturing in 1992 (long before being required by current law), Omega Alpha has concentrated its expertise on formulating and producing herbal based supplements and remedies.

Consumers can feel secure in the quality and efficacy of products because Omega Alpha has instituted quality control standards and practices which are very specific for herbal products. For example, all of the herbs supplied are in a whole and uncut form so company can verify the identity of the medicinal herb thus ensuring there are no adulterations and no subsittuions made. In addition, thecompany have a fully functional laboratory for testing the quality of the final product and they submit the products for objective testing to independent labs.

Many companies produce herbal formulations, but only Omega Alpha manufactures supplements based on proven scientific research and testing.
